تحت رعاية الدكتور إلهامي ترابيس، رئيس جامعة دمنهور، والدكتورة إيناس إبراهيم، نائب رئيس الجامعة لشؤون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، وإشراف الدكتورة فيروز عبد المالك، المدير التنفيذي لمركز الخدمة العامة، نظم مركز الخدمة العامة بالتعاون مع كلية الحاسبات والمعلومات، دورة تدريبية مكثفة بعنوان: "الذكاء الاصطناعي بين النظرية والتطبيق"، بحضور عدد كبير من أعضاء هيئة التدريس، والهيئة المعاونة، والإداريين، وطلاب الجامعة، وعدد من الكوادر التعليمية بإدارة دمنهور التعليمية، وذلك بمعمل الحاسب الآلي بكلية الهندسة.
من جانبها أكدت الدكتورة إيناس إبراهيم، أن الاستثمار في علوم الذكاء الاصطناعي أصبح ضرورة حتمية لإعداد خريج قادر على المنافسة إقليميا ودوليا، مشيرة إلى أن هذه الدورة تأتي في إطار استراتيجية الجامعة لترسيخ ثقافة التحول الرقمي، وتمكين منتسبيها من امتلاك أدوات المستقبل، بدءا من الفهم النظري وصولاً إلى التطبيق العملي في مختلف القطاعات.
وأكدت الدكتورة فيروز عبد المالك، حرص مركز الخدمة العامة على تقديم باقة متنوعة من الدورات التخصصية المدعمة التي تسهم في رفع كفاءة الطلاب والخريجين وأبناء المجتمع البحراوي في علوم المستقبل، لافتة إلى أن هذه الدورة تهدف إلى تمكين المتدربين من تصميم وتطوير حلول ذكية تسهم في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ورؤية مصر 2030.
حاضر في الدورة الدكتور عمرو أبو هاني، القائم بأعمال عميد كلية الحاسبات والمعلومات، والدكتور عماد الكباش، المدرس المساعد بالكلية، وتناولت الدورة المحاور الأساسية للذكاء الاصطناعي، شملت مفاهيم التعلم الآلي، ومعالجة اللغات الطبيعية، وتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في مختلف القطاعات، واختتمت بورش عمل تطبيقية نفذها المتدربون.
ومن جانبه، أكد الدكتور عمرو أبو هاني حرص كلية الحاسبات والمعلومات على سد الفجوة بين المخرجات الأكاديمية ومتطلبات سوق العمل، من خلال التعاون في مثل هذه الدورات التدريبية والشراكات التطبيقية التي تمنح ميزة تنافسية ملموسة.
هذا وقد لاقت الدورة استحسان المشاركين، الذين أعربوا عن تقديرهم لمركز الخدمة العامة والقائمين على التدريب، وطالبوا بتكرار مثل هذه البرامج التخصصية بشكل دوري.

From Machine Learning to Practical Application: Damanhour University Public Service Center Holds Training Course on “Artificial Intelligence between Theory and Practice”
Under the auspices of Prof. Elhami Trabees, President of Damanhour University, and Prof. Enas Ibrahim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Fayrouz Abdel Malek, Executive Director of the Public Service Center, the Public Service Center, in cooperation with the Faculty of Computers and Information, organized an intensive training course entitled “Artificial Intelligence between Theory and Practice.”
The course was attended by a large number of faculty members, assistant staff, administrative personnel, university students, and a number of educational cadres from Damanhour Educational Administration. It was held at the Computer Lab of the Faculty of Engineering.
For her part, Prof. Enas Ibrahim affirmed that investing in artificial intelligence sciences has become an inevitable necessity for preparing graduates capable of competing regionally and internationally. She noted that this course comes as part of the university’s strategy to promote a culture of digital transformation and empower its affiliates with the tools of the future, starting from theoretical understanding and extending to practical application across various sectors.
Dr. Fayrouz Abdel Malek emphasized the Public Service Center’s keenness to offer a diverse package of specialized, subsidized training courses that contribute to enhancing the skills of students, graduates, and members of the Beheira community in future sciences. She pointed out that this course aims to enable trainees to design and develop smart solutions that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt Vision 2030.
The course was delivered by Dr. Amr Abu Hani, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Dr. Emad El-Kabbash, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty. It covered the key pillars of artificial intelligence, including machine learning concepts, natural language processing, and applications of artificial intelligence across various sectors. The course concluded with practical workshops carried out by the trainees.
For his part, Dr. Amr Abu Hani affirmed the Faculty of Computers and Information’s commitment to bridging the gap between academic outcomes and labor market requirements through cooperation in such training courses and applied partnerships, which provide participants with a tangible competitive advantage.
The course was highly appreciated by the participants, who expressed their gratitude to the Public Service Center and the training team, calling for such specialized programs to be held periodically.
